The Actor
Natalia Reagan was born in the lovely hamlet of Van Nuys,
California and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She was raised by a professor mother and an art director
father who instilled in her a love of science, the arts, nature and Mel Brooks
films (“Blazing Saddles” is her all-time favorite). She began acting in grade school where her breakthrough
performance was playing a Tyrannosaurus Rex in the first grade play (a role
usually reserved for boys). After
tackling prehistoric reptiles, Natalia moved on to play penguins (“Mr. Popper’s
Penguins”), men in drag (“The Emperor’s New Clothes”), and old ladies (“How to
Succeed in Business…”). Her first
professional acting gig was playing a dancing Chicken McNugget in a McDonald’s
commercial. It was her favorite
job thus far. She has continued to
play odd-ball characters in television shows including “My Name is Earl”,
“Everybody Loves Raymond”, “The Parenthood”, and “The Drew Carey Show”. Most recently she played a pregnant
prisoner (with a black eye) in the teen road comedy “Sex Drive” and landed the
role of “Mindy” on the hilarious new ABC show “Better Off Ted”. Up next Natalia is playing “Sally” in a
webisodes series entitled “Sally Loves Billy”. She is also a member of the Omelettes, an improv comedy
troupe that performs in the Los Angeles area. She also writes comedy sketches and dirty jokes to help pass
the time between jobs. She shares
her apartment with an ornery rabbit name Trixie who is both incredibly
attractive and impossible to please all while having an ass that just won’t
quit.
The Conservationist
Natalia’s other passion is primate conservation and
biological anthropology. She
recently received her bachelor’s degree in anthropology from California State
University Northridge. She
completed an honors thesis focusing on a holistic approach to Grauer’s gorilla
conservation (Grauer’s gorillas are a subspecies of gorilla living in the
Democratic Republic of Congo). She hopes to eventually go to Africa in the next
year to work with both the community and the gorillas she hopes to conserve and
protect. She also attended primate
field school in Costa Rica during January of 2009 where she had the pleasure of
tracking both capuchin and howler monkeys. She is now currently attending California State University
Northridge to earn a masters degree in biological anthropology (and plans on
continuing in primate conservation!)
The Artist
And…. Smoking Chicken Cards are available for custom
orders! I began making my silly
greeting cards as a child for friends and family. The response was so positive I began making the cards to
sell. I started selling them at
the Sony Studio Emporium and would frequently take custom orders from
clients. I always enjoyed making
custom cards because, frankly, they often led to the most scandalous cards I’ve
ever concocted. Then it
dawned on me; I draw animals that drink, smoke and sleep around so I don’t have
to! So if you’re hankering for a
sick and twisted card depicting animals engaging in overall loose morals pleasee-email me! (I also do “non-sick and twisted cards”
i.e. children’s invitations, holiday cards and sweet cards for your great aunt
Thelma, cards for Methodists etc.)
